Something happened today that made me to realise that there is no reason to fear or worry even in the ugliest of circumstances.
God never ceases to amaze His children and He has always shown Himself to be faithful.
I have been overwhelmed lately with all that is going on and have been trying to figure things out when I know I should be trusting God lol.
There are times when I said Lord if only you will just give me all the details and assurance, it will make the journey a bit easy lol.

There are times when I said Lord if only you will just give me all the details and assurance, it will make the journey a bit easy lol.
God may not have given you all the details and there may be times when it seems He's silent but know that He has a plan, He's in control and has it all worked out.
We serve a God who knows the end from the beginning and who finishes before starting.
Long before haman came up with the plot to eliminate the Jews, God already position Esther in the palace to nullify it.
Long before there was famine, God sent Joseph ahead of time and position him in the palace and through him the people of God were preserved.
Long before the Israelites encountered the red sea, God gave Moses a rod with which he parted the red sea.
Nothing takes God by surprise and He already has everything planned out and taken care of.
You may not have an answer or a solution for the problem you are faced with but your heavenly Father does.
The situation might have taken you by surprise but your heavenly Father already knew ahead of time and put things in place.
Long before the need or problem presented itself, God already made provision or a way out.
The very thing you are worried about or trying to figure out, God has already taken care of.
If only we would learn to trust God more in every situation we find ourselves, we would worry less and praise Him more.
Word for someone:
Long before the need or problem presented itself, God already made provision and a way out.
Though it dosen't look like it right now, know that He will make a way.
It doesn't look like there will be a way due to your current situation or circumstances. But I want you to remember that, before Sarah gave birth to Isaac, it didn't look like she would get pregnant because she was very old and had a dead womb.
Before Joseph became a prime minister, it didn't look like he would become a prime minister because he was a slave and prisoner.
Before Lazarus came back to ... moreGod will make a way.

Before Lazarus came back to life, it didn't look possible because he was in the grave and his body was already emitting foul odor.
Before the Israelites crossed the Red Sea, it didn't look like they would cross it because no bridge or ship was available.
Before the five thousand people were fed, it didn't look like they would be fed because only five loaves of bread and two fish were available.
When you look at the circumstances surrounding you, it seems as if all hope is lost and your situation will never change.
You may say, "I don't feel it or see it" due to where you are or how things are with you and your family currently.
Take your eyes off the circumstances surrounding you and focus them on God because He is bigger than your circumstances.
You don't need to see or feel it, all you need do is trust and believe.
We serve a God who makes a way where there seems to be no way and makes what is humanly impossible possible.
You see the circumstances surrounding you as a barrier but God sees them as an opportunity. It's an opportunity to reveal who He is and what He can do.
God isn't ignorant of where you are or how things are with you currently. He cares for you and will make a way when and how you least expect.

I wrote this while traveling in the morning yesterday, and I even met a minister of God who shared some amazing things with me about when God called him into ministry and the processes God took him through and it kind of related to what I was writing.
Who would ever have thought that the lion and bear that David encountered in the wilderness will play a major role in his victory over Goliath.
When king Saul told David that he cannot fight Goliath, the response of David was, "I killed a lion and bear in the wilderness".
David never knew that a day would come when he would be faced with a giant but God knew and prepared him ahead of time.
The lion and bear that David encountered and killed in the wilderness, was what gave him the courage and faith to confront Goliath.
The natural man would easily have said why would a loving Father allow a teenager like David to encounter a lion and bear all alone in the wilderness?
Except God allows us to go through certain things today, we won't have the courage and faith to confront and conquer whatever is ahead of us.
No one in the army of Israel, not even king Saul had the courage or faith to confront Goliath. The Bible even said when they heard the words of Goliath, they were afraid and ran away.
How come they didn't have the kind of faith and courage that David had?
How come they couldn't confront and conquer Goliath like David did?
I would say it's because they didn't go through what God took David through. "Process".
If you ever wondered why God is allowing you to go through certain things, it's because He wants to use you to do what many will run away from.
What if David had prayed against encountering a lion and a bear? Who knows? Maybe he even prayed against encountering a lion and a bear.
If God were to answer all of our prayers, we won't grow or mature nor would we be prepared or fit to do what God put us on earth for nor be able steward what He commits to our care.
God may show you your 'destination' or 'promise land' but the path to your 'destination' or 'promise land' is secret to Him.
Imagine if God had shown Joseph the path to the fulfillment of his dream.
Oftentimes the things we tend to pray against are processes that are necessary for us to go through if we are to fulfill destiny and be all that God created us to be.
"Faith and courage isn't formed when it's sunny but when it's stormy".
If you ever wondered why God is allowing you to go through certain things today, its because He is building in you the faith and courage to confront and conquer any giant that you will encounter tomorrow.
What would have happened if Joseph had broken out of prison before Pharaoh had a dream?
He would have being unavailable when Pharaoh sent for him to come interpret his dream. He would have missed the fulfilment of the promise God gave him.

When you are impatient and try to make things happen in your own way and time, you miss out on what God has for you.
In the waiting and preparation season, opportunities will come from different people and places.
The opportunity to try other options or make things happen in your own way and time would come.
Joseph could have had the opportunity to break out of prison because he was put in charge of all prisoners and I believe the keys to the prison doors were in his care.
We must be careful not to mistaken what the enemy sends to make us miss what God has for us, take us out of God's will or our preparation season, as the favour of God.
Joseph could have said my current situation contradicts the promise God gave me, so I need to find a way to get out of here. The position and privilege given to me in this prison is a great opportunity for me to break out.
The problem with impatience and wanting to make things happen in your own way and time, is that you end up with Ishmael instead of Isaac.
It's very important to wait for God's time and not try to make things happen in our own way and time because the ways of God are not our ways, and His timing is different.
When it's the appointed time, you will not need to force it, cut corners or manipulate your way into it.
If Joseph had lay with Potiphar's wife, I wonder what would have become of the dream God gave him.
If Joseph had given in your Potiphar's wife seduction, I wonder what would have happened to the Israelites and all men during famine.

The wife of Potiphar tempted and pressured Joseph daily to lay with her but he refused and it got to the point when Joseph had to flee.
Though it's not recorded but I could imagine Potiphar's wife making promises to Joseph just to make him sleep with her.
You know my husband is an officer of Pharoah and works in the palace and you know he will do whatever I want.
If you lie with me, I can tell him to help you get a position in the palace.
The position Potiphar's wife could have helped Joseph to get would have been that of a cleaner or gardener which was far less than the position God had already ordained for him.
" The things the enemy offers you can't be compared to what God has already given you."
The things the enemy offers you are meant to rob you of what God is preparing for you.
If Joseph had slept with Potiphar's wife, he would have traded the position of a prime minister for that of a cleaner or gardener and it would have been impossible for him to preserve lives in times of famine.
"Don't trade your destiny, for a temporal pleasure."
When Jesus said the thief cometh not but to steal, kill and destroy, he wasn't joking. (John.10:10)
We need to know how the enemy is stealing from us.
You won't see an ugly monster with horns and a tale come into your house to steal from you. No!
That thing you derive pleasure from or that secret sin might be the means through which the enemy is stealing from you.
Potiphar's wife may have also told Joseph, I know you were sold into slavery by your brothers and you desire to go back to your Father.
If you lay with me, I can help you get back to your Father.
If Joseph had agreed, he would have taken himself out of the place where God had ordained that his dream will fulfill.
Satan and his human agents will always try to offer us short cut out of our trying season on the condition that we compromise God's word.
Satan offered the kingdoms and glory of this world to Jesus on the condition that he bows down and worship him but Jesus refused.
No matter what the enemy or men offer you, don't compromise.
When faced with Potiphar's wife, say no continually and flee as Joseph flee.
"Don't allow a temporal pleasure to rob you of your eternal inheritance."
Don't allow the enemy to rob you of what God has given you or take you out of where God placed you.

What God did for David when he was faced with a lion and bear in the wilderness, was his testimony to the Voices of doubt and discouragement when he was faced with a bigger challenge.
What the brother of David and king Saul said to David were enough reasons to make David to doubt and be discouraged but his testimony made it impossible.
What was his testimony? God delivered him from the claws of the lion and the bear.
David believed that if God could deliver him from the claws of the lion and the bear, God can also deliver him from the hand of Goliath.
Brethren, what God did for us yesterday should be our testimony to the challenges or problems of today.
Why is it that when we are faced with challenges or problems today, we easily forget that we faced a similar one yesterday and God made a way and came through for us?
The needs God met with yesterday should be our testimony to the needs of today.
When faced with needs, our response should be if God met with my needs yesterday, I know He can and will meet with my needs today.
The battles God won for us yesterday should be our testimony to the battles of today.
The miracles God performed for us yesterday should be our testimony to the trials of today.
Where God took us from yesterday should be our testimony to where we are today.
What God did for us or for those in the Bible should be our point of reference when faced with a difficult or hopeless situation.
"They should be your go-to place for faith and encouragement in times of doubt and discouragement."
What God did for us yesterday should be our testimony to the Voices of fear, doubt, worry and discouragement today.
When I was about going in for my second surgery, fear and worry was trying to come in but my testimony was if God saw me through my first surgery, He will also see me through the second one.
When we learn to remember all that God has done for us, we would worry less and trust God more no matter the situation we are in.
I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
(Psalm 34:1 ESV)
Let's give more thought to all that God has done for us and less thought to what we are currently going through.
Not only would your heart be shielded from doubt, worry and discouragement, but you will also see yourself prasing and thanking God more.
I was scrolling through my phone gallery few minutes ago and I came across this photo. The funny thing is when this photo was taken, I wasn't even aware lol, and it was taken by a friend who came to visit after my surgery.

I felt convicted in my heart because I realised that I haven't truly been grateful to God for the things He has done for me and the many battles He had enabled me to win.
This was actually my second surgery in space of 13 months and it was more complicated than the first but God saw me through.
Oftentimes we focus so much on the things we don't have such that we forget and fail to thank God for the things we already have.
We complain so much about where we are such that we forget and fail to thank God for where He took us out from.
We complain about the unanswered prayers such that we forget and fail to thank God for all the answered prayers.
We worry so much about the little needs before us such that we forget to thank God for all the great needs He met with.
"Let's not allow what we are currently going through to make us forget the goodness and faithfulness of God."
When we see ourselves trying to worry or complain about our situation or circumstances, it's important we look back at all those times God came through for us and turned our situations around.
If God came through for us yesterday and even made a way for us, why do we feel or think He won't come through for us today and make a way for us?
One thing I have learnt today is this, whenever we see ourselves trying to worry or complain about our current situation or circumstances, let's learn to remind ourselves of all that God has done for us.
Not only would we see ourselves worry less and thanking God more, but faith for a turnaround in our current situation and victory over the battles we are faced with, will also be stirred up in us.
If we can look back at all that God has done for us, we would realise that we have more to be thankful for than to worry about.
Let the worry about your current battle be replaced with gratitude to God for all the previous battles He gave you victory over.
"God often allows a season of delay and trials in our lives to bring us to a place of surrender and alignment with His plan."

Hannah was one of the wives of Elkanah and we are made to know that she had no children because God had shut her womb in 1Samuel chapter one.
The question I kept asking myself was, why did God shut the womb of Hannah?
Have you ever thought about why God shut the womb of Hannah?
Have you ever thought about why God allowed Hannah to go through a season of delay and trials before giving birth to Samuel?
Do you know that most parents have already decided on who they want their children to become in future even before giving birth to them?
Parents would love to see their children become doctors, lawyers or engineers and oftentimes the children have no say.
I believe that if Hannah had not gone through a season of delay, she would have acted the same way concerning Samuel.
God had already ordained that the child that would come forth from Hannah's womb will be his prophet but until Hannah came to a place of surrender and alignment with God's plan, her womb was shut.
I believe this wasn't the first, second or third time that Hannah cried to God for a child, but this was the first time she asked God for a child for the right reason.
I believe this was the first time her reason for wanting a child agreed with God's plan and agenda.
And she vowed a vow and said, “O Lord of hosts, if you will indeed look on the affliction of your servant and remember me and not forget your servant, but will give to your servant a son, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life, and no razor shall touch his head.”
1 Samuel 1:11 ESV
"Hannah didn't ask God for a child for herself but for God."
Hannah didn't ask God for a child so that she may have someone that would take care of her when she is old but that God may have someone that will take care of His house.
Hannah didn't ask God for a child to shut up Peninnah or put her to shame but that God may have a prophet in Israel.
"Self and the wrong motive was out of the picture."
It was not recorded that Peninnah dedicated any of her children to God all the days of their lives.
If Hannah had gotten children the same time as Peninnah, I doubt if she would have dedicated any of them to God all the days of their lives.
I doubt if she would have allowed any of her children to go live and serve in the house of God all the days of their lives.
The season of delay that Hannah had to go through was not in vain because it brought her to a place of "surrender" and "alignment" with God's plan.
In those years that Abraham had no child, God was doing something unique in his life such that when Abraham finally had a child and God requested that the child be offered as a sacrifice, Abraham didn't object but obeyed without delay.
Some doors are yet to be opened and requests yet to be granted not because you don't have enough faith or because the enemy is standing against it but because you are yet to come to a place of surrender and alignment with God's plan.
It's not only your faith that God looks at, He also looks at your motive.
James said you ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions in James chapter 4 verses 3.
We all have an agenda for whatever we are praying to God for right? My question to you is this, Is God and His purpose part of that agenda?
Is it all about you and what you want to achieve or is it all about God and what He wants done?
Are you praying for God to prosper you so you can go buy the latest cars, begin to show off and party or that you may give towards the propagation of the Gospel of Christ?
"Hannah had a child not until after she made a vow to give the child back to God to serve in His House all the days of his life".
The motive behind why we want what we are praying to God for must align or agree with God's plan.
I believe God often allows a season of delay and trials in our lives to bring us to a place of total surrender and alignment with His plan.
A place where it would no longer be me, me, me but God and His kingdom.
A place where you nolonger ask God for anything for the wrong reasons but for the right reasons.
A place where we nolonger want anything for self-gratification but God glorification.
A place where when God puts a demand on what He has given to us, we won't object or delay in surrendering those things.
And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.
1 John 5:14 ESV
There are some prayers that won't be answered, doors that won't be opened, battles that won't be won and resources that won't be released until we come to place of total surrender and alignment with God's plan.
