sorry, I haven't been in attendance lately, but Kristie encouraged me to post about the upcoming Passover (which is 4/5/23) on the Gregorian calendar and the 14th of Nisan on the Hebrew calendar. Nisan (the first month (changed from 7th month to first month in Exo 12) is a pivotal month of Biblical happenings. Noah's ark (17th of 7th month, but changed to first month) in Gen8:4 came to rest on Mount Ararat. Nisan (the first month (changed from 7th month to first month in Exo 12) is a pivotal month of Biblical happenings. Noah's ark (17th of 7th month, but changed to first month) in Gen8:4 came to rest on Mount Ararat. Hebrews apparently came to Egypt in that month (Exo 12:40 (430 years prior to Moses Exodus). The Exodus crossing the Red Sea escaping the Egyptians happened on the 17th of Nisan (Exo 3:18 a 3 days journey from Passover to the Red Sea). Other happening Joshua 5:10 the Israelites after wandering 40 years finally crossed the Jordan River on DRY ground into the promised land (on the 10th of Nisan) but with Joshua celebrated the Passover in the Promised land. Esther at least started her journey to save the Jews in Nisan (Esther 3:12). King Hezekiah cleansed the temple in Nisan (2 Chronicles 29:1-18). Ruth married her kinsman redeemer in Nisan (at the Barley harvest). and most importantly Jesus resurrected on the 17th of Nisan. This coming 17th of Nisan is equivalent to April 8, 2023. I would LOVE to tell you that the resurrection/rapture is going to happen today, or tomorrow of 12:04 PM Eastern Standard Time (which is sundown in Jerusalem, officially starting Passover in the Promised land. HOWVER, I don't know a day nor hour, I think the whole month of Nisan is important in Biblical history, and my opinion is that Passover time, or resurrection day would send a positive sign to the Jewish people who know the scriptures, and probably have a few of us "rapture watching, strange Christian friends that they like, but don't understand", sure they will be left behind, but the 144000 witnesses probably will come from the Jewish people who know their scriptures, are left behind, and realize, "my weird Christian friend disappeared, and they told me that would happen". WOW, this is a long post. I hope I have all the scriptures correct so you can verify my thoughts. Anyways Chag Pesach Kasher vesame'ach AKA Kosher and Joyous Passover. Perhaps Soon we will all be together in our heavenly home with Jesus our Lord and Savior. (I also wanted to mention that God stopped the old testament clock of Daniel's 69 week at Messiah's crucifixion and resurrection, the Jewish people are awaiting the 70th week of Daniel (aka tribulation, Jacob's Trouble), perhaps God is going to restart the old testament clock on Daniel's 70th week at the Resurrection day of Jesus, just a thought for you)
Updated 4/7/23 : Reviewing my Bible: but inconclusive that the following events happened on the 17th day, but they did happen in the first month of Nisan. (only reviewed Old Testament as when the rapture occurs, my feelings are that Jewish people might have read these passages, if they have a knowledge of the old testament)
Miriam (Moses and Aaron's sister) died in the first month (Exodus 20:1). I don't know what day, however this is where Moses "Struck the rock", instead of Speaking to the Rock (v8) and the Israelites began their 40 years of wandering in the desert.
Ezra supports the Levites in the Temple Ezra 8:31 (12th day of the first month) v32 (remained 3 days , now the 15th) v33 (4th day, would be 16th of Nisan?
Ezekiel 30:20 first month
Daniel 10:4 (24th day of the first month) Daniel's terrifying vision of the last days for Israel
Nehemiah 2:1 (Nehemiah's prayer to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem was answered Yes in Month of NIsan)
Also in history concerning the beginning of the siege to destroy the second temple (Herod's Temple) : In April 70 CE, about the time of Passover, the Roman general Titus besieged Jerusalem. (((siege started, about the time of the Passover AKA Nisan 14th,15th)))
I'm convinced that God watches over me and directs my steps each day, even if I dont' take the time to always ask for the armor of God to be put on that day.
“And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope: and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”
